Thanks to great successes with recent tenders and a substantial bank of future work, SEP Rail Services is currently looking for 2 x Lead Monitoring Surveyor / Engineers, one based in Bristol and one in the Midlands. These are fantastic opportunities for those with at least 3 years experience of delivering surveying, engineering or monitoring experience.

Lead Monitoring Surveyor responsibilities

  • Ability to lead and setup survey and monitoring projects.
  • Undertaking various types monitoring sessions using a variety of specialised equipment and technology.
  • Ability to undertake geotechnical monitoring would be advantageous.
  • Analysing and processing data using industry standard software.
  • Assist in mentoring/ development of junior staff
  • Any other duties as required by the business.

Lead Monitoring Surveyor requirements

  • 3 years previous Surveying, Engineering or Monitoring experience.
  • Relevant Qualifications and/or relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of the UK construction industry
  • Experience of working to high safety standards.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of role related post-processing software.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • An ambition to learn and develop.
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.
  • The right to work in the UK
